DailTrek Privacy Policy

1. About This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the DailTrek mobile application (package: com.dailtrek.productivity) developed by @DailTrek. It describes what information the app accesses, how it is used, and your rights.

By using DailTrek you agree to the practices described here. If you disagree, please uninstall the app.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

DailTrek does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following on external servers:

• Your PDF files, images, or documents
• Your tasks, notes, goals, reminders, or journal entries
• Your name, email address, or any account credentials
• Your device's precise location
• Your contacts, call logs, or messages

3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

All app data is stored exclusively on your device using local storage. It never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it.

• PDF & Image files — processed entirely on-device; outputs saved to your Downloads folder only when you tap "Save"
• Focus tab data — tasks, notes, goals, reminders, and journal entries are stored in an encrypted local database (Hive) on your device
• App preferences — theme (light/dark), language, and onboarding state stored in SharedPreferences on your device
• Recent files — a list of recently processed file paths, stored locally for your convenience

5. Crash Reporting (Sentry)

DailTrek uses Sentry for anonymous crash reporting in production builds. When the app crashes, a report is sent containing:

• The stack trace and error message (code location of the crash)
• Device type, OS version, and app version
• Anonymous session identifiers (no personally identifiable information)

Crash reports never contain your files, documents, tasks, notes, or any content you have created in the app. Sentry's privacy policy is available at sentry.io/privacy.

6. Third-Party Services

DailTrek does not integrate with any advertising networks, analytics platforms, or social media SDKs. The only third-party service used is:

• Sentry — anonymous crash reporting only (see Section 5)

No data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

7. Children's Privacy

DailTrek is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the address below and we will take steps to delete it.

8. Data Security

Because all processing happens on your device, your data is protected by your device's own security mechanisms (screen lock, device encryption). We do not transmit your personal data over the internet, so there is no server-side breach risk.

9. Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:

• Access — all data is in the app, visible to you at all times
• Delete — uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data
• Data Deletion Request — Users can request deletion of their data by contacting us at Support DailTrek. We will permanently delete all locally stored app data upon request within 7 days.
• Portability — you can share any output file directly from the app
• Withdraw consent — revoke any permission (camera, notifications, storage) from your device Settings at any time

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
